My mother and I are so excited.   Our book, “Mollie’s War: The Letters of a World War II WAC in Europe” has just been named a finalist in the Chicago Writers Association’s first Books of the Year Award for traditional published, non-fiction.

My mother and I will be attending Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime Foundation event honoring Veterans from World War II to the present on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 10 AM.
This event is being held at the Chicago Historical Museum, 1601 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL
