Cyndee Schaffer, author of Mollie’s War, was interviewed in December 2025 for a PBS special–Women of WWII:  More Untold Stories.  She talks about her mother, Mollie Weinstein Schaffer, and her service in WWII stationed in Europe as a WAC (Women’s Army Corps). .   It is now being broadcast on WTTW channel 11 locally and also on PBS Passport. Cyndee is the first person featured on the documentary.
